Through My Hearts is a place for all to see the world through a different pair of glasses – a pair of glasses shaped as two hearts. Specifically two hearts that make up me, the physical and spiritual/emotional. My poetry is what allows me to express the way I see the world in that moment I am writing. I feel so deeply all the time that I need an outlet and writing is an outlet that allows me to release all the stuck energy. My writings are no longer content to just exist, they scratch and clamor at me begging to be let out, to be shared with the world. Really who am I to deny them their chance to soar? I am only the conduit through which the words are able to come to fruition in the physical plane. I must allow them to reach their full potential.
In addition to the poetry you will find lots of photography here. Photography is another love of mine and all the pictures that appear on this blog have been taken by me. I hope you enjoy them as well.

I love the pictures you have chosen to go with your thoughts.
I also like the name of your blog.
I am not sure I have ever really written straight from my heart. Something always stays hidden. It must be a great release to really exhale and let emotions of all shapes flow from its chambers.

Thank you so much, I’m glad you like it! It is a great release, especially because I can have some pretty intense emotions and being able to write them allows to me express, feel and move through them in a creative way. For me writing straight from my heart is a natural, the challenge is putting out there for other people to read. So thank you for your thoughts! š
